If we were happy all the time, then we wouldn’t have any other way to compare it , would we?
Tho’ it’s always nice to smile, and laughing is even better…(just picture a buddha-belly baby laughing and you’ll smile)
“Lighten up a little, would you?”
Just laugh. I mean look at you… you can’t help but laugh. It’s better than crying.
And laughing is a good workout too!
Did you laugh? Did you feel yourself lightening a little?
Laughter can completely change us, inside and out.
Light brings hope and love,
with the faith that we will always have light.
We all carry that light within us,
a glorious gift from GOD,
and by letting it shine,
it liberates others to do the same.
(thank you to Marianne Williamson for one of my favorite quotes):
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. Its not just in some of us, its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
-From Nelson Mandela’s inaugral speech (1994) written by Marianne Williamson
