New Search Engine Giving Away $100,000 in Cash and Prizes to Users and the Social Media Community

PLEASANTON, CA – (April 19, 2010) LeapFish, a new way to search, share and stay connected online, today announced the official release of its $100K Cash Dash promotion.   The company is giving away $100,000 in gadgets, prizes and cash to Internet users who participate in leveraging the search engine in unique ways.

“We are excited to offer the social media community with over $100,000 in cash and prizes while we continue on our path to 20 million searches in 2010,” said Vice President of Marketing, David Bruggeman.

Participants can utilize their online social presence to earn points towards prizes and cash drawings while also driving LeapFish’s goal of one million homepages set in 2010.  Participants earn cash and prizes by blogging, Tweeting, creating LeapFish Homepages, searching, referring friends and many more simple ways that also promote the search engine.

In November 2009 LeapFish introduced a new search experience to the web that offered real-time search, customizable homepages and deep multimedia search, leveraging networks including Twitter, Facebook and others.  In 2010 LeapFish anticipates over 20 million searches to its new search engine.
